Margaret Ann Bowman, 74 of Ferdinand passed away Wednesday May 15th in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper. Margaret was born April 19, 1945 in Ferdinand to Louis & Elenora (Morgan) Schwartz. Margaret retired from Best Chairs in Ferdinand and also from the Sisters of St. Benedict in the infirmary as a CNA.

She was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church. Margaret enjoyed Crochet, reading and crossword puzzles. Surviving are two daughters, Shawn Bowman of Ferdinand, and Kristie (Chris) Snow of Huntingburg.

Two grandsons, Bryce Barkley and Kaden Bowman. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert & Roman Schwartz, and two sisters, Lastie Hedinger and Verena Kays. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday May 18th in St. Ferdinand Church.

Burial will be in St. Ferdinand Church Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 8 until 10:00 AM at the church. Condolences may be shared at www.
