Margaret Antonelli, 87 of South Amboy, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Born Saturday, May 30, 1931 in Queens , New York, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Murphy Margaret would spend most of her life in Brooklyn, NY. She would marry the love of her life Carmine and the two would raise their family in Brooklyn.

Margaret has been a resident of Old Bridge for the passed 20 years. In her spare time Margaret enjoyed trips to Atlantic City to play the Slot Machines. She was a great cook who enjoyed spending time with her family.

She will be missed by all those that loved her. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, Carmine, and by her loving son and daughter in law, Michael and Arlene Antonelli. Margaret is survived by her loving daughters, Doreen Bradshaw and her husband Richie, and Linda Nissen and her husband Don, by her caring brother Patrick Murphy, by her cherished grandchildren, Shannon, Ryan and his wife Liz, Kristen, Bryan, Eddie, and Nicholas, and by her adored great grandchildren, Isabella, Christian, and Frankie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:15 AM on Tuesday at St Ambrose Church located at 83 Throckmorton Ln Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
