Margaret E. Johnson passed away peacefully on March 4, 2019 at the age of 69, surrounded by her family. She resided in Ottsville PA and Warren Center in Bradford County, PA. She was the wife of the late Gordon W. Johnson, Jr. Born April 19, 1949 in Abington, Pa she was the daughter of the late Bill & Myrtle (McGowan) Kay.

She worked as a secretary for Bayview Property Management in Naples, Florida. Margaret and her late husband retired in Bradford County to a farm they both loved dearly for 20 years. She enjoyed caring for all her animals on the farm, gardening, crafts, painting, and crocheting.

She is survived by her three children Kelly A. Shelmire (Paul) of Quakertown, Jason C. Nean of Philadelphia, and Samantha J. Welsh (Mark) of Ottsville. Her beloved dog Bo, her brother Bill Kay, as well as nine grandchildren Gavin, Ryan, Nate, Tyler, Paul, Bella, Eve-Jean, Raelyn, and Sarah. Predeceased by two siblings Robert Kay and Linda Kay.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. ( www. crstrunk.com ) Quakertown, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her name to St. Luke’s Hospice Development Office 801 Ostrum St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
