Margaret E. Markley, 88, of Country Meadows, Mechanicsburg, formerly of Martin’s Creek, PA went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. She was born July 28, 1930 in Egypt, PA to the late Margaret Bretz Moritz and Preston J. Moritz. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald G. Markley.

Margaret worked at Eastern Northampton County Vocational School (now CIT) for 23 years. She was a Deacon and Elder at Forks UCC in Forks Twp. , singing in the choir and playing… Read More » in the bell choir.

She is survived by two sons, Phillip (Jane) of Vero Beach, FL and Christopher P. (Diane) of Lewisberry; two grandsons, Jarrod (Samantha) of Charlottesville, VA and Nathaniel (Laura) of Boston, MA; six step-grandchildren, Celina, Matthew, Tara, Kelli, Joseph, and Matthew; and five greatgrandchildren, Maya, Veda, Arlo, Miles, and Vaughn. A Memorial Service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be scheduled at a later time. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fork’s United Church of Christ, 4500 Sullivan Trail, Stockertown, PA 18083 or to Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way, Suite 115, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
