Margaret Eileen Williams, age 92, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Thursday afternoon, February 21, 2019, at Green Hills Community in West Liberty, Ohio. She was born in Lima, Ohio September 24, 1926, an only child of the late Elmer Howard and Ada Mae (Brown) McKinney. Eileen married Byron Eugene Williams March 3, 1946 in Lima and he preceded her in death November 23, 1984.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Randy G. Williams in 1996. Eileen is survived by her daughter, Susan (Richard) Deardurff of Huntsville, Ohio; three grandsons, Lance (Angie) Williams of Florida, Brad (Candie) Williams of Powell, Ohio and Kent (Jodi) Deardurff of DeGraff, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Racheal, Dylan and Addison Williams and Renae Deardurff; a special cousin, Barbara Benston of Springfield, Ohio; her daughters-in-law, Margaret “Meg” Williams of Powell and Mary McLane of Medina, Ohio and numerous relatives and close friends. Eileen grew up in Lima and graduated from Lima South High School and played the French horn, cello, and piano.

She later worked as a secretary at the Lakeview School, was a bank teller for Farmers Banking, had worked at Compu-Serve in Columbus and ultimately retired from the Huntington Bank Service Center in 1967. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapters #459 in Bellefontaine and #554 in Indian Lake and the Roundhead VFW Auxiliary #8832. Eileen was also a charter member of the Indian Lake Eagles #3615.

She enjoyed bowling and had been an officer of the Indian Lake Bowling Association. Eileen enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds, the Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State football. She had attended the Grace Methodist Church in Lima and was a firm believer in God.

Pastor Karen Torrez will officiate the funeral service Monday, February 25, 2019 at 1P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Walnut Hill Cemetery. KH Donations may be made to: Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley 100 S. Main Ave.
