Obituary for Margaret Gladys Morris Johnson Our dear Mom & Grandma, Margaret Gladys Morris Johnson, passed away on November 29, 2018 at the age of 85. Margaret was born August 12, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Chris George Morris (Monoporis) and Gladys Laura Cliver. She had two sisters and three brothers: Katherine Wilson, Helen, George, Charlie & Kenneth Morris.

Margaret married and later divorced Fred Johnson. They had four children together: Margaret JoAnn (Rex) Fivas, Barbara Colleen Johnson, Shauna Lee Archuleta and Fred Raymond Johnson. Margaret retired from University of Utah Hospital, and volunteered as a foster grandparent at an elementary school after her retirement.

Growing up during the Great Depression taught her to be grateful for everything she had. Margaret enjoyed listening to Patsy Cline & Marty Robbins, loved the color green and anything with flowers on it. She also enjoyed shopping and getting in on the good sales.

Crisp money will always remind us of her as she was very particular that the bills she gave and received were in perfect shape. Above all, family was the center of Margaret’s universe. Everything she did revolved around her family and we all will miss her very much.

She is survived by her son, Fred & “fur grand-dog” Maggie, and her grandchildren Kristal (Max) Anderson, Trudie SchreinerWood, Rex (Deana) Fivas, Kerrie (Chad) Johnson, & Rachael Johnson, as well as her great grandchildren Sierra, Amberly & Bryce SchreinerWood, Tyson (Rachelle Rich) & Tanner Fivas, Christopher & Natalie Johnson, and her great-great grandson, Max Fivas. Her parents, siblings, daughters, son-in-law, grandsons – Justin & Jeffery Johnson, and grandson-in-law Peter SchreinerWood are celebrating her return to them in heaven. Until we meet again sweet Grandma…have a cup of coffee for us and remember that we love you with all of our hearts!

Graveside services will be held Monday, December 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Mount Olivet Cemetery 1342 East 500 South Salt Lake City, Utah 84102. Upcoming Events Graveside Service , DEC 10. 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM Mount Olivet Cemetery 1342 East 5th South.
