Obituary for Margaret I. Trautwein Margaret I. Trautwein (nee Solomon), age 89, of Lorain, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her residence. Born March 9, 1929, Margaret was a lifelong resident of Lorain. She worked for Ontario department store in Lorain as a cashier for ten years until her retirement in 1971.

Margaret was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish in Lorain, where she volunteered many hours and also volunteer for over 10 years with the Epilepsy Foundation. She enjoyed reading, knitting as well as crocheting and she loved to play bingo. Margaret is survived by her children, Leonard Charles (Karen) Trautwein of Lorain and Karen Trautwein of Avon; grandchildren, Erica, Brandon and Amber; great grandchildren Brett Michael, Christopher, Josh, Alex and Lauren; and a great great-granddaughter, Lola; and a brother, William Solomon of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-five years, Leonard E. Trautwein in 1973; parents, Michael and Mary (nee Krajcsovic) Solomon; brothers, Frank, Michael, John, George and Andrew; and sisters, Josephine Solomon, Anna Yuhasz and Mary Forman. Private services were held. The Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists handled the arrangements.
