Margaret “Rusty” J. Stickle, 90, of Orion, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., 1305 13th St., Orion. The family will receive family and friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. with service to follow.

Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery, Orion. Memorials may be made to her family. Margaret was born on January 13, 1928 in Moline, the daughter of Orville and Mary Thomlinson Lambert.

She married Donald Maynard Stickle Sr. on August 10, 1946 in Moline; he preceded her in death on September 24, 1999. Margaret worked as a book keeper for the Parrish Feed of Osco, retiring in 1985. Margaret was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary and served as the treasurer.

She was a member of the Orion United Methodist Church. Margaret enjoyed camping and boating with her family. Survivors include her children, Cindy Green, Tampa, FL; Donald and Teresa Stickle Jr., Orion; son-in-law, Lee Stropes; grandchildren, Derrick, Chad, Missy, Jimmie, Walter, Toni, Jamie, Audrey, and Sam; great grandchildren, Hope, Paige, Chance, Kodi, Rachel, Mykeala, Ryelle, Anissa, Ryker, Maia, Ryland, and Makenna; and one brother, Elmer (Peg) Lambert, New Port Richey, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; daughter, June; son-in-law, Bill Green; two sisters, Helen and Mary Ann; and brother, Harry. Memories may be shared on the tribute wall.
