Margaret May’s Obituary Margaret May Falter, 91, of Monongahela, died Sunday, February 17, 2019 in the St. Clair Hospital. She was born March 15, 1927 in Monongahela, the daughter of Clarence L. and Viola Sara Richards Massey. Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monongahela and an US Air Force veteran having served during the Korean War.

She was formerly employed at Valley Cleaners in New Eagle and at the Charland Sewing Factory in Charleroi. Many years ago, she was a member of the former Monongahela Moose Ladies Auxiliary. Margaret enjoyed crocheting, loved playing cards, traveling with her sister and going to the Senior Center where she especially enjoyed crafting.

She is survived by her daughter, Patty Snyder and husband Robert; son, Mark Falter; two grandchildren, Josh Snyder and wife Courtnee and Krista Snyder, all of Monongahela; four great grandchildren, Raelee Snyder, twins, Lexie and Lanie Snyder and Viola Kendall; sister, Shirley Ann O’Hara and brother, Bob Massey and wife Carol, all of New Jersey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Ann who died in infancy; and two brothers, Clarence R. and Charles L. Massey. Friends will be received on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM with the Rev.

Mark Schollaert and Pastor Kenneth Kirby co-officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Mon Valley Honor Guard and Firing Squad. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 601 W. Main Street, Monongahela, PA 15063.
