Obituary for Margaret “Peggy” M. Sperber Print Margaret Mary “Peggy” Sperber, 69, of Poughkeepsie, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her home. She was born in the Bronx, July 2, 1949, the daughter of Walter and Joan McKernan Sperber. Peggy was employed as an administrative assistant at IBM in E. Fishkill.

She volunteered at the Soup Kitchen in Poughkeepsie, was an avid reader, enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her family. She was a graduate of Mahopac High School in 1967, and Wood Business School. Surviving are her sisters, Kathleen Surico(Wayne), Jeanne Siniscalchi, and Barbara Wallace (Tom), nieces and nephews, Danielle Medina, Glenn Siniscalchi, Matthew Siniscalchi, Chad Wallace, Travis Wallace, Caitlin Wallace, Spencer Surico, an aunt, Helen Mueller, her long time companion, Warren Johnson.

She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Alan Siniscalchi. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Marys Church, Wappingers Falls. There will be no calling hours.
