Margaret (Raimondo) Lori, 96, of Greensburg, died Saturday, January 12, 2019 in the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Greater Pittsburgh in Greensburg. She was born June 11, 1922 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Tessi and Joanne (Runci) Raimondo. Prior to retirement she had been a secretary for Lori Waterproofing.

She was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. She was a graduate of Greensburg High School. Margaret led a very private, prayerful life and died peacefully with her children at her side.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Lori, Sr. on August 2, 2000; her brothers: Albert N. Raimondo, Sylvester “Cy” Raimondo and Arthur Raimondo; her sisters: Rose Carbisiero, Julie Hoyle, Mary Yerina, Josephine Policastro and Helen Zagar; and two granddaughters: Christina Marie Mull and Chelsie Wells Mull. She was a loving mother to her children: Rose Marie Lori Mull of Greensburg, George Lori, Jr. and wife Carol of Frederick, MD and John N. Lori and wife Deborah of Somerset; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was the last remaining child of the first generation of the American Tessi Raimondo family.

At Margaret’s request, there will be no public visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at 10 AM Wednesday in St. Paul Parish, 820 Carbon Road, Greensburg. Everyone please go directly to the church.

Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg in charge of arrangements.
