Margie Ann Armes, age 73 of Westview, KY died Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Baptist Health in Louisville, KY. She was born in Locust Hill, KY on January 3, 1945, the daughter of the late Ezra Clayburn and Nancy Elizabeth Horsley Davis. She attended Locust Hill United Methodist Church as a child and later attended Emmanuel Fellowship Church and Trinity Full Gospel Church.

She was a former volunteer at the Good Samaritan Center in Hardinsburg, KY. Margie was a homemaker who loved being with her children and grandchildren, cooking and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Robert Carroll Davis, Danny Dale Davis, Benny Davis, Judy F. Brown, Brenda Eiland and Sue Compton.

Margie is survived by her husband Kenneth Armes of Westview, KY 2 sons – Greg Armes (Debbie) of Hardinsburg, KY Keith Armes of Westview, KY 1 daughter – Lisa Evans of Garfield, KY 12 grandchildren:Scott, Taran, Danny, Cody , Madison and Makayla Armes, Kevin Willis, Christina Henning, Katie Wilbank, Ashlynn Masterson, Kenny and Jenny Grove 13 great grandchildren 1 brother – Larry Davis (Diane) of McQuady, KY many nieces and nephews Funeral services will be Wednesday at Noon at Locust Hill United Methodist Church 38 Highway 1073 Harned, KY 40144 with Bro. Kelly Tucker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home 308 South Hardin Street Hardinsburg, KY 40143 on Tuesday, 4-8 PM and Wednesday, 8-11:30 AM. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Breck. Co. Relay for Life.
