Margie Nell Burgess, of Alvarado, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019. She was born on February 27, 1946 in Britton, Texas to Raymond Thomas Harden and Allie (Henry) Harden. She married to William Burgess on October 26, 1962.

Margie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who was full of life, funny, and ornery. She loved to dance, had a green thumb, loved all her kids, grandkids and she loved to see them all fed. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Burgess; parents, Raymond and Allie Harden; two brothers and five sisters.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Tommy Burgess and wife Angela, Marilyn Grimes and husband Anthony, Karen Burgess, Lee Burgess and wife Elva, Chris Burgess; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and sister Cindy Mae and husband Allen Funeral service for Margie will be held Monday, February 18, 2019 at 10:00AM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale with interment to follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 3:00-5:00PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale.
