Marguerite Freeman Palmer, 87, of Albany died Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Evergreen Assisting Living in Albany. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Johnny McGee officiating.

Born March 14, 1931 in Miller County, Mrs. Palmer was the daughter of the late John Freeman and Annie Hatcher Freeman. She was married to the late Bill Palmer. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Felton Freeman and a sister,… Read More » Pat Oliver.

Mrs. Palmer was a retired secretary and a member of Beacon Baptist Church of Albany. Survivors include one sister, Linda Freeman Brooks of Camilla; special niece and caregiver, Denise Coleman of Leesburg; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; special friends, Dottie and Dan Clayton of Albany and Raymond and Shirley Gibson of Albany. Visitation will be following services, Tuesday, at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, GA 31707.
