Obituary for Maria De Lourdes Luna FORT WORTH – Maria De Lourdes Luna, 54, passed away in her home in Fort Worth, Texas early morning on June 6, 2018. Maria was born on November 9, 1963 in Michoacan, Mexico to Jose and Celia Ramirez. Maria was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, sister, cousin and friend to many.

She lived as a humble house keeper for many years until she was diagnosed in June 2017 with stage four stomach cancer. She fought long and hard for almost a year until it was discovered that the cancer had spread toward her bones. She was able to fight for another month until she was overwhelmed by the diseases in June 2018.

Maria is survived by her husband, Armando Luna; son, Nestor Luna; her daughters, Mayra Luna, Marlane Luna and Maria Luna. She is also survived by her mother, Celia Ramirez; and her all of her grandchildren, Jorge, Fanny, Jason, Nathaniel, Saira, Gustavo, Evalette, Ziva, Juan Diego, Jose , Joshua, Emma, Armando, and two not yet born babies. She was also loved and cared for by all of her brothers, sisters, friends, cousins, and many niece and nephews.

She was a strong independent woman that was not afraid of throwing a Chancla at someone and showing some though love.
