OBITUARY Maria H. Benavides July 13, 1953 – January 27, 2019 Maria H. Benavides, was welcomed into the gates of heaven on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at a Kingsville hospital at the age of 65. She was born on July 13, 1953 in Falfurrias, Texas to Lucas Hinojosa and Rosa Garcia Hinojosa. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Diana Hinojosa and brother Daniel Hinojosa.

Maria is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Benavides of Premont, Texas; sons, Christopher (Linda) Carpentier of Kansas, Robert Friedrich of Fredericksburg, Texas, Robert Lee Benavides, Jose Luis Benavides and Joshua Benavides all of Corpus Christi, Texas; siblings, Lucas (Mona) Hinojosa of Falfurrias, Texas and Josefa (Joe) Garza of Portland; 1 grandchild Elle Carpentier; numerous loved nephews, nieces and cousins Holy rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville with visitation starting at 8:30 a.m. Funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
