Obituary for Maria Isaura Zaskoda FORT WORTH – Maria Isaura Zaskoda went to be with her Lord on Oct. 17, 2018, in her hometown of Fort Worth. Fort Worth, TX 76116. Maria, also known to family as Toni or Chagua, was born on December 19, 1927, in Dallas. She moved with her family to Salva Tierra Guanajuato for a few years before moving back to Dallas.

She married the love of her life, Daniel Anthony Zaskoda on Oct. 13, 1966. They adopted two children, Mark Andrew Zaskoda and Kimmie Anne Zaskoda.

Maria was a loving stay-at-home mother and loved taking care of her family. She was very active in St. Rita Catholic Church. She was an active member in the Garden Club and the Altar Society.

She was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain as well as spend quality time with her grandchildren more than anything. She is survived by her daughter, Kimmie Zaskoda who lovingly was her caretaker as her health declined; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Missy Zaskoda; grandchildren, Brittany Zaskoda (and caretaker as well) and Alanna Maria Zaskoda; great-grandchildren, Austyn LeeAnne Zaskoda and Addisyn Danielle Zaskoda; and sister, Belen Papajohn.
