Maria Louise Olson Maria Louise Olson, age 75, of Jackson, TN is in the care of Medina Funeral Home. Services will be held at a later date in Nashville, TN and Rochelle, IL. Maria was born March 31, 1943 in Rochelle, IL and departed this life May 30, 2018 peacefully, surrounded by loved ones in Jackson, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nole & Elizabeth Rainwater. She was an avid bowler and in the past loved to play golf. Maria had a great love for sports.

Her grandchildren played many sports and she followed them around to every game she could. Ms. Olson was very active in her church. She was a member of Metro Baptist in Hendersonville, TN.

Her family says she lived for Days of Our Lives. She is survived by her three lovely daughters, Tammy (Bubba) Cummings, Sandi Olson, & Carla (Chuck) Marr; grandchildren, Blake (Alida Koontz) Olson, Allen Marr, Zach (Shelby) Cummings, & Shelby (Craig Massey) Cummings; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Rodney Rainwater; sisters, Jean (Dick) Woollacott, Barb (Gene) Smith, Janice (Jack) Barringer, Linda (Roy) Kinn, & Diane (Don) Kinn; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, & great nephews.
