Kennedy Medical Center in Edison. Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, Maria was a resident of Woodbridge for the last 22 years. Ms. Torres loved to travel and explore the world, was a terrific cook and was very close to her family and enjoyed being in her loved ones company.

Maria was predeceased by two children as well as all of her siblings. Surviving are her son, Anibal “Sam” Medina and his wife Gloria; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will begin at 10am on Monday, April 1, 2019 from GERITY & CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 411 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge followed by a 10:30am mass of resurrection at St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge.

Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Linden. A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 2pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
