Thomas Lipnicki, Jr. November 15, 1972 – March 04, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Thomas Lipnicki, Jr., 46 of Carteret passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Haven Hospice at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison. Born in Jersey City, Thomas was a longtime resident before settling in Carteret 16 years ago. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Port Reading and was an avid fisherman and crabber.

Thomas was a devoted husband and father who will be deeply missed. Thomas was predeceased by his parents, Thomas Sr. and Denise Lipnicki as well as a brother, Jason. Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Leslie Lipnicki; two sons, Anthony Thomas and Matthew Edward Lipnicki; siblings, John Kiernan and his wife Eliza, Stacey Lipnicki and Marissa Stiller.

Also surviving are numerous friends and relatives who were dear to Thomas’ heart. Funeral services will begin at 11am on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 625 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading followed by an 11:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Port Reading. Committal services will follow at Rosehill Crematory.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 5pm to 9pm at the funeral home. At the request of the family, guests are invited to bring in and place a Christmas ornament on Thomas’ Christmas tree during visitation hours.
