Marie M. Miller, 93, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away December 4, 2018 at The Inn at Luther Ridge, Chambersburg. She was born on February 10, 1925 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania to Howard and Pearl (Leary) Newton. She had retired from the Stanley Co. where she had been a seamstress.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. She was a good cook and baker and her family was very important to her. She is survived by her four children: Ronald Miller of Chambersburg, Susan (wife of Ty) Stewart of Shippensburg, Kathleen (fiance of Sam Brand) McKenzie of Chambersburg and Jack (husband of Becky) Miller of Cape Coral, Florida.

She has seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is survived by a sister Mary Lou Kennedy and two brothers; Howard Newton Jr. and Robert Newton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Miller, two brothers, James & William Newton and a sister, Eleanor Artz.
