80, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Michael Colaluca. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Angelina (Ronci) Lanzi of Johnston and the late Angelo Tripodi.

Marie worked as a payroll supervisor for many years before her retirement. She also was the Director of Religious Education at St. Maurice Church in Florida and also taught religious education at St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her loving children, William Lonardo of North Providence, Bart Lonardo of Johnston, Rosemarie Minutelli of Johnston, Michael Lonardo of Cranston, and Paul Lonardo of Dayville, CT; cherished grandchildren William Lonardo, Jr., Bart Lonardo, Rebecca Minutelli, Heather Lonardo-Herrick, Joseph Minutelli, Jr., Anthony D’Angelo, Michael Lonardo II, Matthew Lonardo, and great grandchildren Luke Paul Lonardo and Isabelle Lonardo-Herrick; dear sisters Angela Barone of Florida, Paula Leferte of Johnston and Edyie Rapone of Johnston.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. , Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 4 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Food Shelf, 1804 Atwood Ave. , Johnston, RI 02919.
