Obituary of Marie Pagliaro Marie Samperi Pagliaro, age 82, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Daniel M. Pagliaro, Sr., passed away at home on Thursday, September 13, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on July 16, 1936, she was a daughter of the late John Samperi and Margaret Sokody Samperi Kelly. A lifelong Bridgeport resident, she was a loving and caring person, who truly cared for her family as well as her many friends.

She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Andrew’s Church. She also enjoyed being an Avon Sales Representative. Marie will be missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her stepson, Daniel M. Pagliaro, Jr. and a brother, John Samperi. Survivors include her siblings, Sandra Sinnott and her companion Dennis Hoben, Paul Kelly and his wife Tracey and Michael Kelly and his husband Gerry Kolaitis, a sister-in-law, Annie Samperi; four grandchildren, Michael and Michelle Pagliaro and Nicole and Michael Taurisano and a stepdaughter, Sandra Taurisano,. She also leaves to cherish her memory her longtime companion, Fred Heinzelman, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
