Obituary of Marie Barton Marie B. Barton of Vienna, born July 18, 1924 in Burlington, Vermont to George C. Lawrence and Beatrice St. Peter passed away on October 17, 2018 in Riverhead, NY. at the age of 94. She was a resident of Northern Virginia since she was in her early twenties.

She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Russell L. Barton in 2002, her daughter Lynn-Marie Barton-Lee in 2010, her son Michael L. Barton in 2014 and her daughter Mary L. Cosman in 2017. She is survived by a son Patrick R. Barton of Sterling, two daughters Jo Anne Barton of Shippensburg, PA and Wendy Kmetz of Mattituck, NY. , 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A wake will be held on Monday October 22nd from 5pm to 8pm at Adam’s Green Funeral Home 721 Elden Street Herndon. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
