Obituary of Marie Ganz Marie Ganz (nee MacIntyre), 85, longtime resident of Elizabeth, entered into eternal rest on July 23, 2018. Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Carl Sr. Marie had recently moved to Phillipsburg, NJ to be closer to family. Born August 18, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Margaret MacIntyre.

She retired from Schering-Plough in 1998 after 18 years of service. Marie was a lifelong parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Elizabeth. Known to family as “E”, Grandma, and MaMa, Marie’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren Erin, CarlIII, Steven Jr, Rose, Emily, Anna, Sarah, and Liam.

She and Carl enjoyed celebrating holidays together and entertaining friends and family for dinner. Marie is survived by her loving children including two sons Carl Jr. (Wendy) of Raritan, Eric (fiancé Marilyn) of E. Brunswick, and daughter Kathleen Fulse (Steven) of Phillipsburg. She is also survived by the eight grandchildren she adored plus extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband Carl, Marie is predeceased by their infant son, Mark. Visitation hours are Friday, July 27th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10am, at St. Patrick R.C. Church, Elizabeth.

Interment will be at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pregnancy Aid Center, 59 Thompson St. Raritan, NJ, 08869, in memory of Marie Ganz.
