Mariette Brissette, 84, of Suncook, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2018 at Concord Hospital following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 13, 1933 in Burlington, VT, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Simone (Fay) Brissette. Mariette held many titles over the years from being a receptionist for Dr. Cullerot, a local Suncook dentist for many years, and later as an Inventory Controller for Goffstown Auto Parts.

She was involved in her local church community through the Ladies of Sainte Anne and St. Therese Rosebush Society. She enjoyed her community and as a member of Meet Me in Suncook, she was able to get out and socialize. She was a participant in the Cancer Research Program through the Norris Cotton Cancer Center in Lebanon.

She was always willing to help others. Going dancing, listening to music and playing Bingo were also among her favorites. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two siblings, Francis Brissette in 2013 and Janet Brissette Shichkin in 2017.

She is survived by her siblings, Lucille Sarette and her husband Robert of Goffstown and Louis Brissette and his wife Patricia of Bow, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend Pauline Boisvert. Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, July 8th from 2 to 5 P.M. at the Petit-Roan Funeral Home, 167 Main Street, Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 9th at 11 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, Allenstown.

Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Allenstown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mariette’s memory to the Concord Hospital Trust, c/o The Payson Center, 250 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301. To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.
