Marilee Wheeler, 76, of Beardstown, died at 11:43 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2019, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. Born January 8, 1943, in Clayton, Marilee was a daughter of James and Verna Roberta Syrcle Clark. She enjoyed doing embroidery and sewing and loved playing cards and coloring.

Marilee was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished the time she spent with her family. Survivors include her children, Lisa Clark, Beardstown, Jeff Clark (Cathy Edwards), Brooklyn, Tracy Hidalgo (Sergio), Griggsville, and Danny Wheeler (Bonnie Hammack), Beardstown; 11 grandchildren; Kyle, Jessica, Breanna, Melinda, Natelie, Sergio Jr., Tyler, Hope, Emily, Danny Jr., and Brittany, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Viola and Joan.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton by Rev. Sheri Renner. Burial will follow at South Side Cemetery, Clayton.

Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, American Heart Association, or Timberpoint Healthcare Center Activity Fund. Online condolences may be left at www.
