Obituary for Marilou Sacre Marilou Teresa Uber Sacre, 78, was born on November 10th, 1939 in Denver, Colorado. She passed away in the early hours of the morning on October 15th, 2018 in Austin, Texas where she lived the last 47 years. She was a dedicated member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church and a Stephens Minister.

She loved working as Direct Sales Manager for Avon for many years. Above all she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family. Marilou was always busy crocheting, hand crafting, painting, drawing, gardening, writing, sewing and bird watching.

She was the youngest of four children born to John and Haley Uber. She met a young airman 3rd class at a base dance and it was love at first site. On December 15, 1956 they married, and for 21 years they traveled the country.

She was the glue that held the family together from town to town always making our house a home and organizing neighborhood gathering providing a safe environment. Marilou never met a stranger, she was outgoing and kind. She always made sure to take care of anyone that was in need.

She made our family feel happy, safe and loved. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Sacre, her daughter Roni Spector, her 5 grandchildren, Christy Dixon, Stephanie Maldonado, Branden Pate, Jamie Spector, and Daniel Spector, and her 7 great-grandchildren Ashleigh, Tyelur, Felipe, Cooper, Ka’ryssa, Anthony, and Kambree.
