Marilyn M. Cosier October 07, 1943 – April 29, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card There will be services held at 11 AM on Saturday May 4, 2019 at New Life Lutheran Church for Marilyn M. Cosier age 75, of Liberty Township who passed away surrounded by her family at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House in Poland on Monday April 29, 2019. Marilyn was born October 7, 1943 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of Charles & Vesta Donaldson Wellendorf. She was a 1961 graduate of Boardman High School, and in 1963 received her Associates Degree at Youngstown College.

Marilyn was an activities director at Meridian Arms Living Center for many years retiring in 2009. She was a charter and very active member of New Life Lutheran Church and was on the Board of Camp Frederick. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards, and loved taking her grandchildren and great-grandchildren on yearly camping trips.

She also was a member of Niles Sewing Guild and Red Hatters. Her husband James H. Cosier whom she married December 18, 1965 passed away November 6, 1986. She will be lovingly missed by her family; her son Joseph J. (Carol) Cosier of Coitsville, her daughters Elizabeth (Richard) Cisco of Coitsville, and Janis (Timothy) Bell of South Charleston, Ohio, ten grandchildren Samantha, Jessica, Jackie, Bryce, Kelli, Kayla, Cindy, Sydney, Danielle,and Carson and three great-grandchildren Hayden, Rowan and James.

She also leaves her sisters, Donna Jean (Lee) Schrum of Middletown, PA. , Carol (Sam) Ricciardi, and Sandy (Roger) Byers both of Canfield. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband.

There will be calling hours on Friday May 3, 2019 from 5-7 PM at Stewart-Kyle Funeral and Saturday May 4, 2019 prior to the service from 10-11 AM at New Life Lutheran Church. Marilyn will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn’s memory to New Life Lutheran Church 1181 Churchill Hubbard Road Youngtown, Ohio 44505 or Camp Frederick 6996 Millrock Road Rogers, Ohio 44455.
