Obituary for Marilyn Ida Siegman Marilyn Ida Siegman, 90, of Elcho, WI, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Born July 19, 1927 in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of Elsie and Fred Mueller. Marilyn married LeRoy on September 20, 1947 in Oconomowoc, WI, and was later sealed to him for time and all eternity.
Together they raised seven beautiful children, and were blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marilyn spent her life in the service of others, for many years as a devoted house coordinator for a private group home in Hales Corners for developmentally disabled adults. She then continued to share her love as a nanny for two precious families in Waukesha.
Marilyn had an appreciation and love for music. Her angelic voice and her enjoyment of singing and recording, gave her a continuous desire to share her incredible gift of song with many people. She enjoyed many simple pleasures such as cooking, knitting, gardening, and collecting everything!
Marilyn had an exorbitant amount of love for her dogs. Her witty and sarcastic sense of humor, along with her ability to see the good in all people and in all things made her the perfect treasure. Marilyn was ever calm and serene in her faith, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She lived and loved every moment she was given, neither hard times nor any trial would compromise who she was. Her selfless, altruistic personality as a mother, who always had a smile and open arms gave her a quiet strength. She is survived by her sons, Gary (Laura) Siegman, Glenn (Michelle) Siegman, Grant (Lorraine) Siegman; her daughters, Gail Leggett, Gloria (Robert) Siudzinski, Gwendolyn (Fred) Bloechl; 26 grandchildren, Jeff, Jennifer, Heather, Bradford, Trever, Dawn, David, Bob, Tabitha, Catherine, Theresa, Christopher, Angela, Joshua, Jenny Lee, Glenn Jr., Jessica, Melissa, Kristina, Nickole, Joey, Marilyn, Savannah, Sofia, Michael, Katrina; and an abundant blessing of many great grandchildren.
Her husband, LeRoy; son, Gregg; daughter-in-law, Cynthia; great-grandson, Benny; and all her siblings preceded her in death. Visitation and a gathering of family and friends celebrating her life will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Friday at Strasser- Roller Funeral Home in Antigo Wisconsin. A second gathering will take place from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Monday at Wisconsin Memorial Park’s Chapel of Flowers in Brookfield, with service at 2:30 p.m. She will then be laid to rest beside her husband.
