Marilyn M. Everett November 14, 1939 – December 21, 2018 Huachuca City-Marilyn Everett passed away peacefully on December 21, 2018 after a six-year battle with Dementia. She was 79 years old. Marilyn was born in Danbury, Iowa on November 14, 1939.

She graduated from Danbury Catholic High School in 1957. She attended the College of St. Mary’s in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Cochise College of Arizona. Marilyn enjoyed her 17-year career as a bus driver for the Sierra Vista School District.

She also drove a few years for VT Griffin on Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. Marilyn married her high school sweetheart Charles Everett and lived abroad for nearly 15 years in S. America and Europe.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 60 years Charles W. Everett and their children; Scott J. Everett of Colorado, Cheryl L. Szommer of North Carolina and Roger C. Everett of Sierra Vista, Arizona and five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Carole Hebel of Henderson, Nevada. Family and friends are asked to meet on Monday, December 31, 2018 at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church 800 Taylor Drive to Celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial for Marilyn at 9:00 am.

Rites of Committal will follow at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1300 Buffalo Soldier Trail, Sierra Vista. Hatfield Funeral Home, Sierra Vista is entrusted with the arrangements.
