Obituary for MARIO ( FINCH ) GUTIERREZ SR. Funeral arrangements for Mario Fidencio Gutierrez, Sr. also known as “Finch”, age 38 of Lamesa are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel along with an Inspirational Service starting at 7:00 p.m. Mario passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in Lamesa.

He was born on February 19, 1980 in Lamesa. On January 2015, Mario and Nikki Guzman joined together to start a new family-life. Mario was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Salinas, Jose Manuel (Joey) Gutierrez, Jr.; his nephews, Robert J. Plaza and Jaime Salgado; his niece, Bryanna R. Cruz.

Mario is survived by his family, his common-law wife, Nikki Guzman of Lamesa. Texaas; his sons, Mario Gutierrez II, Cruzito Gutierrez, and Juanito Gutierrez, all of Lamesa, Texas; his daughters, Dafney Gutierrez of Snyder, Texas and Ali ‘Ana Gutierrez of Lamesa, Texas; his step-sons, Matieu Renteria and Exayien Renteria, both of Lamesa, Texas; his parents, Jose Manuel Gutierrez and Josie Gutierrez of Lamesa, Texas; his brothers, Ricky Salinas of Albuquerque, NM. , Amando Salinas of Santa Fe, NM.

, and Jesus Gutierrez of Lamesa, Texas; his sisters, Mary Ann Salinas of Grand Ledge, MI. , Mary Esther Plaza and Isabel Salinas, both of Lamesa, Texas, Debra Ann Ramirez of Amarillo, Texas, and Elizabeth Cruz of Hobbs, NM. ; five grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
