Marion Chesson Burke Coster, 86, widow of Marvin Y. Coster, passed away March 12, 2019. A native of Washington, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Dennis W. Chesson, Della Francis Hodges Chesson, and step-mother, Ida Christine Hodges Chesson. She retired from Greenville County Schools after 31 years of service and was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Constance “Connie” Groves (Gene) of Greer; a son, J.D. Burke (Susan) of Campobello; a step-son, Stan Coster of Greer; a brother, Merlin Chesson (Linda) of Roper, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and an honorary Nana to many others. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, conducted by Rev. Michael Schnatterly.

Visitation will be held after the service in the Parish Hall at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 1408, Greer, South Carolina 29652. Online condolences may be made at www.
