Obituary for Marion L. DiLorenzo Marion L. DiLorenzo (nee Chidsey) Age 98 years, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home with her family by her side. Born in Chicago on November 2, 1920, she lived in Crest Hill and Joliet most of her life. Marion worked for many years at Goldblatts Dept.

Store managing 4 departments, including the Hosiery Dept. She was very proud to be named Woman of the Year by the CCW of St. Ambrose Church in 2000. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 ½ years, Albert DiLorenzo (1996); her parents, William and Mary Chidsey-Ferguson; her step-father, Lemuel E. Ferguson; three brothers, Leo and William in infancy and Alfred Chidsey Sr.; her dear friend and companion, John Toncray.

Survived by many loving nieces and nephews, especially Patricia Cortese, Mary Rohr and Mary Therese Oberts. Numerous great-nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and great-great-great nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation for Marion L. DiLorenzo will be held at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home 1201 Wyoming Ave.

Joliet on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 9:15 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 am. Interment St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice and Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home would be appreciated.
