Obituary for Mr. Marion M. Miller FORT MEADE – Mr. Marion Monroe Miller, 69, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home in Fort Meade. Mr. Miller was born July 16, 1948 in Harlan, Kentucky and moved to Fort Meade 31 years ago from Lake Wales. He was a retired maintenance mechanic, and enjoyed spending his leisure time with his family, and fishing on a body of water that he thought would allow him to reel in a good catch for the day.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents, Hughie and Oneida Stevens Miller; daughter, Michelle Young; and sister, Patricia Miller. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte S. Miller, Fort Meade, FL; daughter, Candice Hutchinson and husband Bryan, Winter Haven, FL; step-daughters, Kristine Bridges, Fort Meade, FL, Cynthia Durrant and husband Rick, Bradenton, FL; step-sons, Steve Winters, Fort Meade, FL, Ron Winters, Alabama; son-in-law, David Porter, Fort Meade, FL; brother, Eugene Miller and wife Mary, Vero Beach, FL; sister, Barbara Herndon and husband Tommy, Fellesmere, FL; fifteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and his special dog companion, Earl. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL, with funeral services following at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
