Marion “Pete” Fox BLUFF CITY – Marion “Pete” Fox, 81, passed away at NHC of Johnson City on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, after a lengthy illness. Pete was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County. He grew up and lived in the Bluff City area, graduating from Bluff City High School.

He worked at Modern Forge of Tennessee for 25 years and retired in 2004. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Fox, Bluff City; two sons, Greg Fox and wife Jennifer, Johnson City and Jamie Fox, Bluff City; five grandchildren, Joshua Fox, Kristie Fox, Kellye Fox, Scotty Fox, Brad Fox and several great grandchildren. Celebration of life services will be conducted at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Northside Baptist Church located at 149 Fitzsimmons Hill Rd, Elizabethton, TN 37643 with Brother Sydney Payne officiating.

Music will be under the direction of Tony Kelley, Greater Glory, Jeff Melton and Brenda Davis. The family will receive friends from 2:30pm-3:00pm prior to the service. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of NHC of Johnson City.

Also, sister in law, Peggy Scalf, cousin, Pat Gouge and special family friend, Chad Hawkins. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to assist with funeral expenses. Donations can be sent to Evelyn Fox, 228 Fox Hollow Road, Bluff City, TN 37618.
