OBITUARY Marjorie Jeannine Nope October 1, 1934 – October 3, 2018 Marjorie Jeannine Mount Nope, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. She joins her adoring husband, Ret. Lt.

Col. Darrell A. Nope, oldest daughter, Deborah Lynne Casey, grandson, Joshua Nope; parents, William and Marjorie Mount; brother, Bill Mount, along with many other loved ones in heaven. Jeannine leaves behind son, Darrell W. Nope; daughter Dianna (Mike) Tanner; grandchildren, Jeremy Theis, Jennifer Theis, Ryan (Lindsey) Nope, Samantha Tanner, and Sioban Nope; great-grandchildren, Austin Bergeron, Julia Bergeron, and Joshua Nope; and siblings, Glenda Ellender, Scott (Labrina) Mount.

Jeannine was born on October 1, 1934 in Ruston, Louisiana. She was a 1953 graduate from LaGrange High School. Jeannine was a supportive wife during Darrell’s 34 years of service in the U.S. Air Force.

Jeannine, a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, faithfully served as a matron in the Baton Rouge Temple and through her work in the LDS Family History Center. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 12pm-2pm. Services will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 2pm.

Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
