Obituary for Marjorie Loyce Crisp Denmon Marjorie Loyce Crisp Denmon Springhill, LA Funeral services for Marjorie Loyce Crisp Denmon, age 86, will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 8, 2018, at the Old Sarepta Baptist Church, with Rev. Todd Pickard officiating. Interment will follow in Old Sarepta Cemetery, Sarepta, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home. Mrs. Denmon was born on February 27, 1932 to Frank Edward and Verla Estelle Ross Crisp in Bastrop, LA and passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in Bossier City, LA. She worked as the manager for the Springhill Chamber of Commerce, and for the International Paper Company in Human Res.

She graduated from Springhill High School with the class of 1950 and had a great love for the school, the community, and her teachers. She enjoyed sharing fond memories of her childhood home in Georgetown, South Carolina, was an exceptional seamstress, loved to dance, enjoyed painting, gardening, and above all else spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her two daughters, Melanie Denmon-Fain of Shreveport, LA, Catherine Denmon-Payne of Shreveport, LA; grandson, John Thomas Denmon-Payne of Shreveport, LA; two granddaughters, Sarah Payne and husband, Ian Pylvainen of Boston, MA, Katherine Elizabeth Hedberg and husband, Josh of Shreveport, LA; and a great-granddaughter, Brelle Payne.

Mrs. Denmon was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Thomas Winton Denmon; her parents; sisters, Barbara Joyce Grafton, Imogene Crisp and brother, Gerald Ross Crisp.
