Marjorie Ann Hass was born on August 16, 1930 to Marjorie (nee Gagne) and George R. Jones. She passed away on April 3, 2018 after a short illness. She was married to Donald Rudney in 1951 and remarried to Donald Hass after Mr. Rudney’s passing in 1963.

She was a faithful auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary and a great prayer warrior. An avid reader and yarn crafter, she made numerous hats and lap blankets for the homeless and veterans. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Spencer (nee Hass) and son-in-law, Richard Spencer; two unofficial daughters, Christine Norris and Kristen MacGregor; two younger brothers, G. Robert and Kenneth Jones; a younger sister, Kathleen Bennett; thirteen nieces and nephews; their spouses as well as great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 16 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, April 17 at 11 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 271 Winchester St., Warrenton with interment to follow at St. Peter Catholic Church Cemetery, Washington, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the Warrenton Pregnancy Center, PO Box 316, Warrenton, VA 20188 (501 3(c)).
