Mark E. Schaefer, 66, of Milwaukee, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018, at his home. He was born August 9, 1952 in Milwaukee to Edward and Lois (Allen) Schaefer. Mark was a graduate of Custer High School.

Mark was an over the road truck driver, he drove for Goodyear over the years, and retired from Vitran. Mark was a member of the Teamsters Local 710. He is survived by his children; Marcus (Becky) Schaefer, Lucas (Fawn) Schaefer, Tami (Doug) Pentek, and Ursula (John) Lampsa, by… Read More » his grandchildren; Ethan and Mckenna Schaefer, Damian and Kasey Pollock, Tristin and Jaime Lammert, Sam and Scarlett Schaefer, Robbie and Elizabeth Pentek, and Evan and Lana Lampsa, by his siblings Lynn (Mike) Van Roo, Carl Schaefer, Darlene (Karl) Egle, Patty Hieland, and Scott (Mary) Schaefer, brothers-in-law, Dennis Rommel and Joseph Strosin, he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, wife Irene, brothers John and David, sisters MaryJo Rommel and Diane Strosin, niece Katie Rommel, and brother-in-law Charles Hieland. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St. Sheboygan, with Rev. DuWayne Hanke officiating.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
