Obituary of Mark “Makko” Alan Neering Mark “Makko” Alan Neering, 62, of Esville, our loving, kind, and talented father, brother, companion and friend passed away on March 6, 2019. Mark was born on February 1, 1957 in Bay City, the son of the late William Neering and Betty (Lundbom) Wackerle. Mark graduated from All Saints High School and went on to work at KLC Enterprise.

In 1997, Mark met the love of his life, Kathy Jacobs. Together they shared over 22 years and countless memories. Mark’s true passion was being a musician, playing the drums, guitar, and singing; he was a member of the bands, KMJ and Big Richard.

He enjoyed tinkering with mini bikes and motorcycles- especially his Triumph motorcycle, collecting BB guns, and he loved animals. Mark never met a stranger and helped everyone any way he could. He will be missed dearly.

Mark leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Christopher Neering; siblings, James (Beth Schaefer) Neering, Christine (Gary) Russell, David Neering, Kathy Neering, and John Wackerle; companion, Kathy, along with countless friends. In addition to his parents, Mark was welcomed home to heaven by his granddaughter, Alana Neering, and his step-father, Wes Wackerle. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd.
