Mark Raymond Matuszak, age 69 died peacefully Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region. He was born July 12, 1949 to the late Stanley and Genevieve (Cianek) Matuszak in Unionville and graduated from Cass City High School in 1969. After receiving his Associate Degree from Delta College, Mark was co-owner of Skizak’s Sportswear from which he retired after 30 years.

He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish and a life-member of the V.F.W. He is survived by his two sisters and two brothers: Elaine Bates, Margey (Robert) Davidson, Anthony Matuszak, and John (Karin) Matuszak; and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 am in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish. Rev. Richard M. Filary will preside and entombment will follow in St. Stanislaus Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be designated for Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish or the Toni and Trish House. Visiting with the family will be Monday only at church from 10:00 am until the time of the Liturgy. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel.
