Obituary for Mark V. Hastings Gansevoort, NY Mark V. Hastings of Gansevoort, NY passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on, July 4, 2018, he was 60. Born on November 17, 1957 in Saratoga Springs, NY, he was the son of the late Earl and Eleanor (Hovey) Hastings. Mark was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to go deer hunting and finishing in the Adirondacks.

He could also be seen at Saratoga Lake and Lake George fishing, and ice fishing in the winter. Mark was great with his hands and could fix anything that needed it. He was also a great cook, Mark loved to make delicious venison burgers.

In his younger years, Mark could be seen doing gymnastics. Mark is predeceased by his parents, Earl and Eleanor Hastings, brother, Glenn Hastings, and sister, Cheryl Hastings. He is survived by his son, Joseph Hastings of Gansevoort, NY, one brother, David Hastings and his wife Nancy of Ballston Spa, NY, a sister, Bambi (Paul) Mott of Seminole, FL.

and several nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be on July 11, 2018 from 12-1pm, at the Tunison Funeral Home 105 Lake Ave. Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm following the calling hours. Burial will be at Greenridge Cemetery in Saratoga Springs, at 1:30pm. Online remembrances may be made at, www.
