Marlen Aline Harrington, 94, passed away on her birthday, May 23, 2019, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital in Thermopolis. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of John L. and Carrie (Mason) Bernd and was known by her middle name, Aline. In October, 1943 she married John R. Harrington in Louisville.

Mr. Harrington died in 1999. Aline moved to Cheyenne to be with her grandchildren, and then came to Thermopolis, WY living at the Wyoming Pioneer home the past year. A homemaker, she enjoyed flowers, gardening and cooking.

She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church in Brandenburg, KY. Survivors include her granddaughters, LeahAnn (Johnny) Johnson, Cheyenne and Elizabeth (Andrew) Freeman of Thermopolis; son-in-law, Donald Pack, Cheyenne; great grandchildren, Gary, David and Jonathan Johnson, Ashlee Adams and Aidan Freeman; great, great grandchild, Audio; and sisters, Neola Hinkle and Bonnie Werner, both of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Gloria Pack.

Memorial services and burial are pending in Brandenburg, Kentucky. . Mortimore Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
