Marlene A. Lovatt, 80, of Valparaiso, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was born February 10, 1938 in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota to Maynard Elmer and Evelyn Stella (Lund) Damschen. Marlene is survived by her children Mitchell (Rosezell) Myers of Indianapolis, Thomas Myers of Ft.

Myers, Florida, Michele Pugh of Carlisle, Indiana, Robert (Pam) Myers of Crown Point, Stella Myers-Reagan of Ft. Myers, Florida, Laura (Marcos)Viloria of Valparaiso, Christopher (Lei Xie) Myers of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Daniel (Lisa Randolph) of Valparaiso; 32 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and her sister Evelyn Mae Gilkerson of Escondido, California; her niece Katherine Nagler of Surprise, Arizona, and nephew Kenneth Gilkerson of Temecula, California.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Eric Viloria, great granddaughter Kylie Fedor, her niece Cheryl Beaman, nephew Stephen Gilkerson and her parents. Marlene was a homemaker and former real estate agent. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Ft.

Myers, Florida. Visitation for Marlene will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with funeral services immediately following at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. in Valparaiso. Deacon Mitchell Myers will officiate.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
