Marshall North, 88, of Valparaiso, passed away on February 23, 2019. He was born on January 26, 1931, in Cumberland, Kentucky, to Walter, and Katie (Morris) North. He was married to Lillie Fields North.

Marshall worked as a heavy equipment operator for Local #150 before he retired. He is survived by his children James (Shirley) North, Marsha Holder, Vickie Prater, Carol (Chuck) Watson, Naomi North, and Marshall (Lisa) North. He is also survived by his sister Linda Sue Scott, many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and son James North, and siblings, Luther North, Bob North, Dorothy Nailleux, Shirley Norfleet, and John Henry North. A memorial gathering will take place Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the home of Jim and Shirley North, 13624 S. 600 W., Hanna, IN. , at 2:00 PM.
