Obituary for Marta M. Spevak (Müllerova) Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, Marta Spevak passed away peacefully on January 16, 2019 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA at the age of 87 years. Born and raised in Prague, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic), she immigrated to the United States in January of 1970, eventually settling in Belmont, MA. She is survived by her husband Milan and was a wonderfully devoted mother to her daughters, Jana (Antošova), Helena (Glennon), and Milena (Glennon).

She was a loving grandmother to Thomas, his wife Bethany, Michael, Lucka and Ivona. She was a cherished sister to Ana (Hilmar) and aunt to Kytka (Hilmar-Jezek) and Kati (Salmon) of Florida. She was also a beloved great-grandmother to Charlotte and Margaret (Glennon) and to numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren in her native Czech Republic.

Known to many as Marta, Mom, Babi, or Baba, she was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman, who always put family first. We will miss her every day. Special thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center who provided care and comfort to her over these last few, difficult weeks.
