OBITUARY Martha Anne Parnell July 18, 1949 – February 5, 2019 Martha Anne Parnell, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in Kokomo. She was born on July 18, 1949 in Cheerokee County, Alabama to the late James and Dolly Mae (Kirby) Davis. On December 18, 1965, she was married to Thomas Parnell in Kokomo.

Thomas preceded Martha in passing on May 14, 2011. Martha spent most of her adult life as a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and watching television shows like The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie.

She also enjoyed taking trips to Las Vegas. Most of all, Martha loved caring for her family. Martha is survived by her son, James Parnell, along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Wayne Parnell, and a brother, Marvin Davis. There will be a public visitation for Martha held at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home on Saturday, February 9th from 12-2 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following.
