Martha Howard, 88, of South Bend, IN, formerly of Lakeville, IN passed away at 5:41 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2018 at her home. She was born on February 24, 1930 in Akron, IN to the late Orvan S. and Vera (Martin) Floor Sr. Martha is survived by her son, Thomas Ray (Sharon) Howard of South Bend, IN; two grandchildren, Thomas R. Howard II & Kevin Chodzinski and two great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Phyllis Munson, Norma Barr, Cleo Hall, Gladys Gaff, Pauline Floor, Frances Arnold, Janette Smarz, Orvan Floor Jr., James S. Floor and Marion Floor.

Martha lived most of her life in South Bend. She worked for seventeen years at Ball Band (Uniroyal), for seven years at the Ditch Inn or Loading Zone and was the owner and operator for Marty’s Hang Up and City Bar-B-Que Bar & Grill. There will be no services or visitation.

Burial will take place at a later date in Akron Cemetery, Akron, Indiana. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend, IN is assisting the family.
