Luciel “Punkie” M. Knefely, 64, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Golden Living Center in Mishawaka, IN. She was born on September 20, 1953 in South Bend, IN, to William and Mary (Singleton) Dover, both of whom preceded her in death. On April 28, 1979, Punkie married William Knefely, who preceded her in death on March 19, 2018.

Punkie is survived by her daughter, Mary “Nikki” (Michael) Garver of Mishawaka; son, Larry (Jennifer) Knefely of Granger, IN; six grandchildren, William Garver, Ashton Garver, Veronica (Aaron Miller) Garver, Ashley Luers, Whitney Luers, and Dylan Knefely; great-granchildren, Ava Miller and Aria Miller; and sisters, Mary Ann Rose of Oklahoma; Toni Layne of South Bend; and Elaine Castro of Michigan. In addition to her parents, Punkie was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Bradburn and William Dover. There will be no services held at this time.
